The University of Ottawa Ukrainian Students’ Club (OUSC) is excited to announce its second Ukrainian Day event! Come to the Agora in UCU (opposite the bookstore) between 10am and 3 pm on Wednesday, November 4th to experience uOttawa’s second Ukrainian Day.
At Ukrainian Day, you can eat some perogies (varenyky), watch Ukrainian dance and cartoons on a big screen, and learn how to write your name in Ukrainian. We’ll also be teaching simple Ukrainian phrases and showcasing some important parts of the country’s history and culture. You can even try on some traditional Ukrainian costume pieces and get your picture taken in our photo booth!
Whether you’ve been to Ukraine, have an interest in its culture, or have only heard about it in passing, this event offers a unique glimpse into Ukraine’s richness, dynamism, and importance. We hope to see you all at our second annual Ukrainian Day!
