Jocelyn Moore – President
Hi there! My name is Darian Scherbluk and I am in my third year of Conflict Studies and Human Rights. I was born and raised in Mississauga. I grew up having an active lifestyle, playing football for eight years as well as competing in track and field and basketball. I am also very proud of my Ukrainian heritage and got involved in the community throughout my life, taking part in Ukrainian dancing during my childhood and volunteering in my church community. I am looking forward to all of the exciting events planned for this year and making a difference in the Ukrainian community in Ottawa!

I’ve grown up in Ottawa and feel very proudly and strongly connected to our Ukrainian community here. In the upcoming year, I hope to help the Ukrainian Students’ Club to build a stronger presence on campus and in the community. I’m passionate about Ukrainian culture (especially Ukrainian dance!) and I love sharing it in with others. Our Club has many exciting ideas for this year, and we’re very much looking forward to meeting and working with you at our events.
